Employability Skills Program
Providence Farm provides Worksite Training for students in Vancouver Island University’s Employability Skills Program.
Students spend one or two mornings/week in pratical, hands-on, work-related activities. These are aimed at introducing students to job-related skills. In our farm setting, students acquire vocational skills and positive work habits for entry-level work areas such as retail, janitorial, horticultural, and food preparation.
